How To Create A Raised Row Garden Bed – Gardening Made Simple!

One popular type of raised bed gardening is square foot gardening. But because this is so often done using rows, this technique sometimes is referred to as raised row gardening or gardening with raised bed rows. Growing your own vegetables is fun and anyone can do it.

The reason for doing this is so that you can bend the hoop forward and slide the row cover between the hoop and the garden bed frame. The garden is laid out in squares, approximately one square foot in length, with no limit to the size. Most importantly, it creates a garden that is easy to maintain. By their nature, raised beds get around the issues of wasted space in the pathways and soil compaction. To be clear, a gardener or farmer also can create raised beds without frames simply by building piles of soil and compost on top of the ground.
